Delay causes us to arrive later or slower than we expected and desired. The challenges of delays in life are human phenomenon. However, the way we handle them and the attitude we adopt towards them shapes our lives.
Sometime we are placed on the long path instead of a shortcut. There may be potholes, detours, and even tollbooths along the path that seem to slow us down. But they prepare us, getting us ready for those difficult times.
They are designed to strengthen our faith, make us stronger by testing our responses under pressure and our loyalty and obedience to God. They train us, they are designed to break old habits and thought patterns.
We must realize that God's timing is more accurate than ours will ever be. So when you are in God's waiting room be patient, trust Him, and let God do His work in your life.
